Linda Witt-King is on a mission to find suitable and sustainable shelter for homeless seniors – of any age, as it turns out – and has been actively pursuing remedies for the homeless since becoming suitably re-homed herself in February, 2016 in Newport Beach adjacent to Costa Mesa, after living in and out of her truck for a little over a year.
Linda was an IT project manager, business analyst, technical and business writer and program administrator prior to the Great Recession of 2008. She turned 60 years old that year, and joined millions of other seniors who fell out of the generally accepted income and credit model, many of whom can, even now, still be found wandering among the homeless or teetering on the edge with those at risk.
